The high profile pairing of Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next ‘Guzaarish' has people talking all over the world. According to sources, the scenes being filmed have been intense in nature. You can always expect that from a Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie. According to Aishwarya, Guzaarish is going to be different from their first two films.
“This time we aren’t going into the glamour zone,” said Ash. “Sanjay was so excited when he found the right script for us to work together in. ‘This is it,’ he said. For the first time I didn’t even read the script before I said yes. It’s a very real, very intense drama. If Dhoom2 and Jodha Akbar are any indication of what is in store, we are surely in for a joy ride in the theaters.

Big Bucks & Big Names as Jurry & participants

Big Bucks & Big Names as Jurry & and participants.TV Shows are not letting any stone unturned to rope moolah .Apparently, the producers have approached Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit to judge the show. The show will have the common public as participants. Informs a source, "The production house is leaving no stone unturned in making the show a huge affair.

The show is for commoners and there will be auditions at all the major cities in India. Cineyug has approached Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and they both have liked the project. The only issue with Aishwarya is dates as the show will last for three months.

One is trying to get them on-board but the producers are also in talks with Arshad Warsi and Javed Jaffrey incase things don't materialse with Aishwarya. Madhuri would probably do the show but she has still to sign on the dotted lines.

Choreographer Shiamak Davar has been confirmed as the task master on the show whose job is similar to that of an umpire in any match."Talking about the hosts our source says, "Bidaai girl Sara Khan is almost finalised as the female host and we are in the process of finalising Eijaz Khan as the male host of the show. The show is expected to go air on 9 October, 2009."

Aishwarya Rai's Guzaarish To Hrithik Roshan

Salman and Aishwarya came within ‘shooting’ distance

It would have been a scene worth watching if ex-lovers Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would have come face-to-face! But Salman Khan deliberately avoided the embarrassing situation - to the great disappointment of gossip mongers. A newspaper recently reported that by strange quirk of fate, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Ranbir Kapoor were shooting in the same premises for their respective films.

The shooting of three films were going on in Mumbai`s Mehboob Studios. Salman Khan was shooting for ‘Veer’, Aishwarya for Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s ‘Guzaarish’ while Ranbir Kapoor was busy with ‘Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year’. Eavesdroppers, journos and eye-witnesses were waiting for some juicy tale to ooze out. Everyone was hoping for the stars to rub against each other but Sallu for once disappointed all.

The actor chose to hang out with Ranbir Kapoor and completely ignored Aishwarya. Although there were stories of Sallu’s girl Katrina’s link-up with Ranbir, but he chose the actor’s company over his ex-girlfriend. The two men had lunch before going back to their shoots.

Salman even avoided meeting good friend Sanjay Leela Bhansali to stay away from Aishwarya. And everybody missed the fun…

Shahrukh -Aishwarya Rai In Rajiv Menon’s Film

Anything can happen in Bollywood. Friends becomes foes and foes turn friends. Now, two of the most popular Tinsel Town actors Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who until recently were not seeing eye to eye, have made peace finally.

The news is doing the rounds that cinematographer & director Rajiv Menon is bringing the hit pair of SRK-Ash together. He flew to London and narrated the script to Shahrukh Khan, who liked it. He is planning to cast Aishwarya in the movie.


It may be recalled that differences between Shahrukh and Aishwarya cropped up after Salman Khan (Aishwarya’s ex boyfriend) visited the sets of Chalte Chalte. Angry Shahrukh replaced Ash with Rani Mukherjee. Since, then nobody succeeded in bringing them together on screen.

However, Shahrukh’s gesture during the premiere of Drona brought the Bachchans and the Khans closer. However, the icing on the cake was their meeting at Karan Johar’s birthday party on 25 May. Shahrukh-Gauri and Abhishek-Aishwarya couples had great time together.

Aishwarya :Wish To make Big B Dada

Aishwarya Rai who is quite busy these days with promotions and movies wants to prepare herself to become a mother.

Aishwarya apparently wants to complete all her work by 2010 so that she can concentrate on motherhood.

A source close to Ash says, “This no doubt is the busiest phase of Aishwarya’s career. Such a flurry of assignments has never been seen before in any married actress’ life and she’d be foolish to let such opportunities slip by. Luckily, Abhishek is thoroughly supportive of her career. She wants to complete as many of these assignments as she can to before she becomes a mother. Because once she gets into that role she wouldn’t want any other distractions. That, Aishwarya is sure of.”

Ravaan Team in kerela Again For Shoot

Director Mani Ratnam has been shooting for Raavan for the past several months. The filming of the climax scenes has just started and the director has got special permission from the Government of Kerala to shoot in certain interior regions of the Silent Valley forest reserve.

Raavan has Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai apart from Priyamani, Prithviraj and Vikram in important roles. This schedule would last for 45 days approximately, and the ace director also has plans to use a helicopter to reach certain remote and inaccesible areas.

The shooting for Raavan is expected to be complete in the next few months and let us hope that the film is a success!

Aishwarya calls Sonam ‘just another junior actress’

The war of words between Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor still seems to be going strong. A few weeks back, Sonam had apparently offended Aishwarya by calling her `Aunty ji` (owing to the fact that Ash has been paired with her dad Anil Kapoor onscreen). And now, Ash has hit back at her by calling her ‘just another junior actress’.


According to our source, while inaugurating a beauty school for the cosmetic giant L`Oreal, Aishwarya said that the issue has been blown up by the media. Ash also mentioned that there was no competition between her and Sonam as she was ‘just another junior actress’ and there isn’t a need for seniors to compete with the juniors to prove them.

Both the actresses have not been on positive terms ever since Sonam became the young face of cosmetic giant L`Oreal, while Ash represented older women for the same brand.
It is believed this is what infuriated Ash, and she made sure that Sonam missed the opportunity to walk the Red Carpet during the Cannes Film Festival.

With the way Ash has hit back, we wonder if she really thinks of Sonam as ‘just another junior actress’!

Aishwarya Rai gets Karate training

Rajnikant’s mega budget next Endhiran starring him along side Aishwarya Rai seems to have garnered a lot of curiosity as the makers are keeping the production a close guarded secret. But the audience interest about it seems to be multiplying day by day as inside details are being leaked out. We managed to find out one such inside info about Aishwarya Rai’s character in the film.

Our sources reveal, “After having learnt sword fights for her English movie The Last Legion, Aishwarya has been training herself in Karate for Endhiran. A noted stunt master Ramesh who has been running a Japan Shito-Ryu karate school in the South for over 30 years, which is affiliated to the World Karate Federation is training the actress for the movie. Ramesh is teaching Aishwarya the basics of Karate for now. In the movie Aishwarya Rai and the other girls in the film will be learning Karate from her hero. Rajnikant is already trained in Karate so he will not have to train himself. Some interesting scenes were shot recently in the VIT University in Chennai.”

"Whoever is on top is the dreamgirl. I feel it is Aishwarya Rai," Hema told reporters on being asked who, according to her, deserves to be called the 'dreamgirl' nowadays.

Taking about the hardships an actress has to face, she said: "An actress' life is the same - nothing has changed. It is what it was even 20 years back. They have to work very hard, make themselves look beautiful and need a lot of dedication to remain at the top," said Hema, who was in this suburb of the national capital Monday to felicitate winners of supermarket Big Bazaar's 'Meet The Dreamgirl' contest.
